As they are operated by municipal, church and also private organizations we are very familiar with the special features applying to their different operators. Through the introduction of DRGs (Diagnosis Related Groups) the competitive as well as the financing situation for the hospitals has been intensified. In this connection we provide assistance with the development of individual concepts for the optimal reaction to the constantly changing framework conditions in the health care sector. We also support our clients with the increased implementation of cooperation between providers of in-patient and out-patient services e.g. through medical care centres (MVZ) or integrated care contracts.
In the area of care facilities, too, extensive changes have taken place within the last few years, for example, as a result of the Nursing Quality Assurance Law (PQsG) and the introduction of performance and quality agreements (LQVs) associated with it. We not only advise on the implementation of the required adjustment measures, but also offer our participation in the conduct of hospital and nursing charges negotiations as well as our assistance with the separate calculation of non-subsidized investment expenditure for care facilities according to the State Nursing Law GesBerVO.
