PCAOB registration of thp treuhandpartner Jäger Finken Welling Janssen Steinborn GmbH

In accordance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002, companies which are listed on U.S. stock exchanges, must have their accounts audited by an accounting company which is registered with the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB). This also applies to German subsidiary companies which have a significant influence on the consolidated accounts of a listed company. On the basis of our registration we are in a position to audit relevant companies.

Worldwide approx. 1,800 accounting companies are currently registered with the PCAOB, including 40 accounting companies from Germany (status: October 2007). The registration with the PCAOB requires the existence of a corresponding quality assurance system. It is established in close coordination with the German Chamber of Public Accountants and the Institute of Public Accountants. Accordingly, the cooperation with the PCAOB, or the passing on of information to this institution is only possible within the context of the German profession legal regulations.

You will find further information on the homepage of the PCAOB.
